- The Hudson River Estuary Program, a core state partner in our work, received steady funding at $6.5 million inclusive of $1 million to implement the Mohawk River Action Plan.
- The Waterfront Revitalization Program, which has helped communities including Kingston, Peekskill and Albany open their waterfronts to communities, will receive $14 million, down $500,000 from last year’s EPF allocation.
- The Water Quality Improvement Program will see a $400,000 reduction in funding, coming out to $18.6 million. This program supports key investments in water quality planning and project implementation.
- The Drinking Water Source Protection Program’s Source Water Assessments continues with a steady $5 million. Communities will benefit both from new Source Water Assessments, which should clearly identify risks to their water supplies, and a robust planning process to prioritize and identify actions to address those risks.
