Andrea Nugit-Pecorino
Andrea has a background in theater and is a retired teacher of the Blind and Visually impaired. As an activist, she is a member of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America as well as other political causes that bring attention to critical issues.
Her passion for travel and photography frequently incorporate volunteerism around the globe. Most recently she has created her family’s charitable foundation which focuses on environmental and animal conservation, food, water, and shelter insecurity, and the arts. As a neighbor of the Hudson River since her move to Rockland County, along with her interest in climate justice, Andrea is proud and humbled to join the Riverkeeper Leadership Council.
