Drew Gamils
Drew Gamils joined Riverkeeper in April 2023. Prior to joining Riverkeeper, Drew worked as an associate at Keane & Beane, P.C. specializing in the practice of environmental, zoning, land use and municipal law. Drew provided counsel for several municipal boards as well as private clients on matters regarding General Municipal Law, SEQRA, New York City Watershed Regulations, and other environmental regulatory requirements.
Drew earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2016, with a Certificate in Environmental Law. During law school, Drew held a clerkship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency- Air Enforcement Division in Washington, D.C. In addition, she served as the Managing Editor of the Pace Environmental Law Review. She is also a graduate of the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic.
Prior to law school, Drew received a B.S. in Environmental Studies: Policy, Planning and Law, magna cum laude, and a minor in Urban Environmental Science, from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2013.
