Gail grew up in Albany, NY, where she first became interested in state politics. Her legislative experience began by volunteering for a state Assemblymember's office, and later becoming part of the Undergraduate Session Assistants Program with the NYS Senate. Gail earned her B.A. in international relations at SUNY Geneseo and is passionate about environmental justice and public health issues.
