Kate Sinding Daly
Kate Sinding Daly, Esq., is the Senior Vice President, Law and Policy, at the Conservation Law Foundation, where she oversees the organization’s programmatic work throughout New England. She previously served as the inaugural Executive Director of NorthLight Foundation, which focuses on advancing equitable and enduring solutions for environmental and human health. Earlier, Kate was Senior Advisor to the President of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and, before that, a Senior Attorney and Deputy Director of NRDC’s New York program. She began her career as an associate and later a partner in the specialty environmental law firm of Sive, Paget & Riesel, P.C. Kate is a graduate of New York University School of Law, the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, and Barnard College.
Before joining the Leadership Council, she served on Riverkeeper’s Board of Directors for many years, most recently as its Vice Chair. She serves or has served on numerous other boards in the environmental, conservation and environmental justice sectors, including the Open Space Institute, the Waterfront Alliance, and the Center for Earth, Energy and Democracy (CEED).
