Ramsay Adams
Ramsay Adams is the Founder and Executive Director of Catskill Mountainkeeper, an environmental advocacy organization dedicated to protecting the Catskill Region. Mr. Adams is the Secretary and Board Member of the Sullivan Alliance for Sustainable Development a county wide organization that promotes sustainable energy, companies and working wage jobs. He is the Executive Producer of the online environmental video website Environmental Countdown and a film and television music supervisor, author, and educator. He created and taught the "Music Supervision" course at New York University's Center for Advanced Digital Applications and is the author of the book "Music Supervision: The Complete Guide to Selecting Music for Movies, TV, Games, and New Media." (Schirmer). He is co-founder of MusicSupervisionCentral.com, a music supervision services company.
Mr. Adams was the Music Director for the Fox News Channel for over 4 years and is the film music supervisor of many award winning films films including "Jihad for Love", "The Break Up Artist", and "Heights." He created and taught the "Music Supervision" course at New York University's Center for Advanced Digital Applications and is the author of the book "Music Supervision: The Complete Guide to Selecting Music for Movies, TV, Games, and New Media" (Schirmer) and is the co-founder of MusicSupervisionCentral.com, a music supervision services company. Mr. Adams met his wife at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and now lives in the Catskills with her and their two children.
