Thomas G. Lewis
Tom Lewis is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering as well as a Juris Doctorate (JD) with focus on environmental law. In addition to serving on the Riverkeeper board, he serves in board positions at international and industry organizations such as Resilience First, the International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI), and the Disaster Recovery Contractors Association (DRCA).
Tom formerly served as Lead Executive for Climate, Resilience & Sustainability (CRS) at WSP USA, the U.S. operating company of the multinational engineering, architectural, environmental and construction management firm. Tom also served as WSP USA’s lead executive/representative on global committees for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Future Ready programs, as well as being part of executive steering teams within WSP USA for the recently established Innovation Network and the Equity Center of Excellence.
Prior to its acquisition by WSP in 2018, Tom served as a corporate board member and president of Louis Berger U.S., after leading and growing its environmental, emergency management, sustainability, and climate resilience operations. At Louis Berger, Tom was an originating executive sponsor for its Corporate Social Responsibility program and its Inclusion@LouisBerger and Women@LouisBerger employee resource groups.
