Scrap metal drum found on Bronx River - with a nice outcome

Nice when a problem gets solved on the spot.
We found a red metal 55-gallon drum floating near a scrap yard during our water sampling patrol on the Bronx River earlier this month, Aug. 9.
One of the yard guys yelled over that if we brought it within reach of his machine he would pull it out.
DONE... Very satisfying. Smiles and thumbs up all round.
