Early Wednesday morning there was dense fog westbound for Rome.
Then suddenly bright sun near the Utica bridges.
Blocked at Lock 20, last lock, because of electrical problems. Thankful that I didn't get west of the lock before it broke down. Turned back east, and down, toward the Hudson.
Little Falls at sunset. An air force of geese coming in for the night.
Finally, the Mohawk at Little Falls. Stunning beauty – what most of the River was before locks, dams and the Erie Canal (I took this photo on an earlier patrol).
