Riverkeeper and Peekskill Brewery brew beer to highlight drinking water source
Riverkeeper has teamed up with Peekskill Brewery on a unique wheat beer that highlights the source of drinking water for 100,000 people: Peekskill Hollow Brook, which is not only the City of Peekskill’s primary water source, but also supplements the Village of Buchanan’s water supply, and serves as a backup for the Towns of Cortlandt, Somers and Yorktown.

New York State Urged to Protect Water Quality in New York City
Riverkeeper, NRDC, and Save the Sound, the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic submitted comments to the New York State DEC urging the agency to set new water quality standards for the coastal waters in and around New York City in a way that makes them healthier for recreation and restores ecological functions.
