Indian PointJoin Riverkeeper on June 13 at the upcoming Indian Point Decommissioning Oversight Board meeting. Riverkeeper continues to push regulators and Holtec to ensure a timely and safe decommissioning, including addressing radioactive groundwater that has been slowly leaching into the Hudson River for decades. It is long past time that this pathway of contamination be stopped to protect the integrity of the Hudson. Riverkeeper was instrumental in securing the passage of the Save the Hudson bill, and while the DOB meeting will not discuss any ongoing legal action, we continue to push to safeguard Hudson River communities, as well as the health of our waters.

Any person wishing to deliver a statement during the 30-minute public statement portion of the meeting, either in person or virtually, must pre-register by 12:00 p.m. on June 12, 2024. Any person who plans to attend the meeting but does not wish to deliver a statement is kindly asked, but not required, to pre-register to inform meeting hosts of seating capacity needs.
