- Urge Your State Senator to Close the Hazardous Waste Loophole, by visiting our Action Center and asking them to vote to pass the Hazardous Waste Loophole Bill, S.884/A.6859 (Learn more about this by reading our recent blog post).
- Write an op-ed in support of the bill.
- Use #NoFrackWaste on social media to express your support for closing the hazardous waste loophole on Wednesdays.
- Support passage of a local fracking waste ban in your community using Riverkeeper’s model ban and examples of county bans (Contact Riverkeeper with questions and requests for support).
- Educate your community about this important issue by signing up to volunteer at one of our upcoming tabling events.
