Carolyn Marks Blackwood
Carolyn Marks Blackwood is a screenwriter, producer and principal partner at Magnolia Mae Films. Among the films produced by Magnolia Mae are The Duchess, The Invisible Woman and Philomena.
Carolyn is also a Fine Art Photographer whose subject matter has focused on elements of the Hudson River. With a house on a 120 foot cliff, that affords a 180 degree view of the Hudson, she photographs the river in every season, time of day and kind of weather.
She has been an occasional guest of John Lipscomb’s on the R. Ian Fletcher, and also has gone out on the Coast Guard Icebreakers that keep the lanes open in the Winter. Her great love for the river motivates her to do everything possible to protect it.
