Riverkeeper testified at a New York State budget hearing in Albany this week, voicing our support for increased funding in key areas that will help address urgent environmental challenges. These areas include investment in clean water infrastructure, drinking water protections, and swimming and recreational access for communities across the state.
Clean water is a unifying issue, and Riverkeeper will continue to advocate for increasing investments in these programs so that New York can lead the nation in protecting our environment and ensuring a healthier future for all.
